Press-In Rubber Plug for Drilled Kayak Drain Holes

from $4.99

These drain plugs are designed to fit securely in pre-drilled drain holes without the use of fasteners. The plugs are slightly oversized to keep the plug in place. They are ordered by the size of the hole you have or wish to add to your kayak. If your hole is between sizes we recommend ordering the next size up and then enlarging your drain hole for that plug. For example, if your kayak has a drain hole that is 5/16” (.3125) you would need to order the 3/8” (.375) and then drill your drain hole out to 3/8”.

These plugs are great for missing or damaged factory plugs found in some sit-in-kayaks (SOT). Many manufacturers have started adding small drain holes to allow any water out that may have leaked inside the haul. This is particularly important with the addition of accessories to a SOT kayak that may now be allowing water in such as surface mounted rod holders, video equipment or accessories. If your kayak does not have a drain plug and you need to add one, this is the simplest way to do it and then easily seal the hole.

Perfect for stand-up paddle board (SUP) air vents as well.

NOTE: Plugs are sized for the hole you have or want to add. If you plan to drill a hole for added drainage be sure to drill a hole the size of the plug you order.
